Adagio: Culture, music education and fine wine
The Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra presents Adagio, a new social and music education group for adults. The Adagio will meet the Saturday evenings before each Tuesday concert.
Adagio is a direction in music that means slowly, leisurely, at a slow tempo.
“This is a great way to learn more about Symphonic music while meeting new and old friends in a fun, social environment – for all ages,” said Angelina Salazar, Chair of the Symphony’s Outreach Committee. “Since this is about art and culture, we hope people will dress up a little and make it a preferred destination for those Saturday evenings.”
Adagio members will enjoy interesting and educational repartee with Symphony musicians and Board members, as well as discounts at some local restaurants.
Please call the Symphony office for the date and location of the next Adagio event: (970) 243-6787
