The Grand Junction Symphony Guild (GJSG) is a nonprofit organization devoted exclusively to the support of the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra of the Grand Junction Musical Arts Association through financial, educational, and other activities consistent with its purpose. In addition, we support music education in the schools, the Children’s Concert, and the Young Artist Competition.

Our Guild’s activities include:

  • Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show

Please join us at our General Meetings on the Monday prior to each concert at 9:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 3940 27½ Road. You will have the pleasure of meeting the conductor, Kirk Gustafson, and the guest artists. They entertain and enlighten us with their insights about the following evening’s program. Cup of Cheer Holiday Home Tour

Grand Junction Symphony Guild Annual Holiday Tour of Homes
December 8 and 9, 2007

The Grand Junction Symphony Guild is again hosting its popular “Holiday Tour of Homes” event which was formerly called the Cup of Cheer. The weekend tour will be Saturday, December 8 and Sunday, December 9 from 12 noon to 5 p.m.

Six homes festively decorated for the holidays by the homeowners will be open for viewing. Join us for a coffee, tea, and cookies reception at The Art Center, 1803 North 7th (corner of 7th St. and Orchard). The reception is from 12 to 4.

Tickets with address and directions are $13 in advance or $15 on tour days and are available at the Symphony Office, City Markets, Albertsons, Safeways and in Palisade the Tucan Coffee Cafe on Main Street.

Monies raised by the “Holiday Tour of Homes” support the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra, underwrite the Children’s Concert, and help fund music education programs in our local schools and the Young Artists’ Competition.
