The Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra is celebrating its 30th anniversary season thanks to broad community support. Like all successful cultural institutions, the Grand Junction Symphony relies on private donations. Its vibrancy reflects the thoughtful generosity of citizens who want to play a part in building great organizations for their community, who want the best possible quality of life for everyone in the community now and for generations to come.
A contribution to the Grand Junction Symphony supports:
- Music education programs, including Springfest and Children’s Concerts, that serve more than 15,000 students and provide critical enrichment to schools throughout the Grand Valley
- An outstanding concert season of 6 quality classical music performances with appearances of up and coming guest artists
- Special programs including holiday concerts and classic silent films with live orchestra at the historic Avalon Theatre
- Free community concert in Lincoln Park
- Young Artist Competitions that encourage the discovery of new and emerging talent throughout the five-state region
- Life enhancing musical experiences that reach an audience of more than 23,000 annually
- Learning experiences that are essential to a well rounded, educated citizenry
